Miami, FL – Since the start of Covid-19, relationships have either suffered or strengthened as people have been quarantined with their partners. Divorce attorneys are already seeing a surge in divorce rates, but a recent story coming out of nowhere else but Florida actually has been in the plans since before everything.

In the early 2000s, Ethel Williams, Edna Madison, Gertrude Allen, and Muriel Nandor retired to Florida with their husbands. The four women grew up in Milwaukee together and never lived more than 100 miles from another. Their husbands all became close, as well, and as the four couples retired, as many do, they made the move to Florida to enjoy the sun, sand, and water.

Over the last few years, the octogenarians’ husbands became more of a nuisance to them. They wanted to spend more time just with their wives, but the wives weren’t having it. After watching a Golden Girls marathon on television at the end of the last year, the women came up with a plan: murder their husbands so they could live like Blanche, Dorothy, Sophia, and Rose.

The four women poisoned their significant others, making it seem like an allergic reaction and have all since moved into one house.
