I had the pleasure of meeting Julie Rhodes in college. We instantly connected, because of our love of pop-punk bands like Motion City Soundtrack and pretty much any and every band that was ever on Drive-Thru Records, Rushmore Records, or has ever played a Warped Tour show. I always knew that Julie liked playing music, but I never would’ve thought she would be playing the music she is today. That’s not a bad thing by any means, as she is now making bluesy, folk music. Rhodes has already been playing shows all over New England, but they’ll be coming to a city near you in no time.
