Hollywood, CA – In a few hours, the 87th Oscars will be taking place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Actors, writers, directors, and everyone else who has taken part in some of the biggest films from last year, are all getting ready for the Academy Awards. Hours go into preparation for the awards ceremony. It’s many entertainers’ big day, and they want to make sure they are looking good. It’s not only the people who put together these films who will be at the awards ceremony, though. Entertainers from all different industries will be there tonight, including hip-hops Kanye West.
West has been known for interrupting entertainters at different award ceremonies. It all started in 2009, when the Chicago native interrupted Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs. Swift was accepting her award for Best Female Music video and West didn’t think she deserved the award. West thought that Beyonce deserved the award and he wanted everyone to know it. It had been a few years since West pulled another stunt like this at the an awards show. At the 58th Grammy Awards, which took place on February 8th, 2015 at the Nokia Theater, Beck was award Best Album of the Year and West interrupted him as well.
West is now in his hotel room getting ready for the Oscars. He is all dressed up an ready to go, however, he is practicing the interruption he will make tonight. Even though Beyonce is now up for an award tonight, West is really pushing for Michael Keaton and Edward Norton to win for their roles in Birdman. If they don’t get the award, West will be making a scene.
