WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following viral photos appearing to show Donald Trump asleep during a televised Oval Office event, sources claim the president has officially undergone a cosmetic procedure to tattoo realistic open eyes onto his eyelids.
According to insiders, the idea was inspired by Strange Wilderness, where a character paints eyes on his eyelids to appear awake.
A DC-based tattoo artist, who allegedly consulted on the project, described the process as “one of the most challenging jobs of my career.”
“He wanted the eyes to look alert, confident, and slightly suspicious,” the artist reportedly said. “We did three drafts before settling on what the team called “presidential awareness.’”
Sources say the tattoos are designed to maintain the appearance of focus during long meetings, briefings, and televised events.
“Even if he dozes off for a second, the American people will never know,” a close source reported.
