Hollywood, CA – Celebrities are often thought of as selfish, self-centered people who would never lift a finger for someone else. While this might be true for most celebrities, there are a few out there that do their part and almost make up for the rest. Bono, Miley Cyrus, and Oprah are some of the names that come to mind, but now Beyonce is making her way into the charitble spotlight. The Houston native is opening up her own adoption center appropriately named: ‘Destined to Be Somebody’s Child.’
Knowles has looped in her husband, Shawn Carter or Jay-Z, who is also quite charitable. The two musicians are opening a center in downtown Hollywood, which will be starting off small, but they plans to grow it over the years. “We’ve been working on this in the background for the last few years,” Knowles recalled. “We’ve both been so busy, but we’ve had this on our mind for quite a while now.”
The center will have it’s grand opening this weekend. Both Knowles and Jay-Z will be in attendance along with close friends Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
