Stockholm, SW – A Phish cover band has started to make a name for themselves. After playing the bar and club scene for the past few years, they recently entered an online cover band competition and were chosen as the winners.

“It was crazy how much changed for us overnight.” Singer and rhythm guitarist Sven Borgen told us. “One day, we’re barely getting a paycheck to play to a crowd of drunks, and now we’re already on the lineup for huge musical festivals all around the world.”

The band was started by Borgen and drummer Flinber Shananananaflor in 2008 and they found the rest of the band members through mutual friends. They are now in the studio recording their first tribute album and are planning an international tour for the fall.
