New York, NY – Verizon Communications Inc., known for being one of the world’s leading broadcasting and cable companies, is taking on a new product this winter: cochlear implants.
The product has somewhat been around since the 1950s, but recently has started to become popular. Cochlear implants allow the miraculous capability of allowing deaf people to be able to hear again. Many different companies have tried to get on board and develop their own, but have fallen short because of lack of budget and technical employees.
“This is something we’ve been working on for a while now.” Chairman, President, and CEO of Verizon, Lowell McAdam, told us recently.” When I first saw the success of this invention, I knew that we would one day get involved, and I’m so excited to finally announce that we are going to be introducing our first prototype in a few months.
