Brooklyn, NY – Steve Buscemi is known for some great things. The Brooklyn native has played some of the most memorable roles in Adam Sandler productions, made most gangsters look like amateurs, and he was even one of the volunteer firefighters to respond to the 9/11 tragedy and help out. At fifty-eight-years-old, the ‘Fargo’ star just keeps getting better. He hosts his own AOL show, stars with Louis C.K on a web-series and he even has spent time behind the camera. To add to his resume, Buscemi has just announced he will be releasing a new clothing line. Specifically, sweatpants.
The ‘Hotel Transylvania 2’ star has partnered with Kmart to release a new sweatpants clothing line. “We are more than pleased to have partnered with Buscemi on this line,” Martha Robertson told us. The designer told us she has been trying to work with Buscemi for years on her sweatpants line and that she never even looked for anyone else to endorse them. “There were many times when Kmart kept asking me to try partnering with other people. Names were thrown around like Tom Brady, Nick Cannon, Miley Cyrus and Lou Diamond Phillips, but I just wanted to hold off until Buscemi was free. We even had people like Seth Rogen and Amy Adams come to us to try to get their name on the pants, but I refrained.”
The sweatpants will hit over 600 stores nationwide just in time for Christmas. The clothing line can also be purchased and pre-ordered online at www.kmart.com/buscemipants
