Los Angeles, CA – Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan, creators of the Emmy award-winning ‘Modern family’, have decided to take the show down a different route at the start of the new season. Not that the show needs anything new to raise viewership, but the single-camera show’s new direction will just add a little flavor. As big fans of ‘Game of Thrones,’ the creators decided they will be killing off half of it’s cast in the first episode of season six.

“We’ve loved the show since the first episode,” Lloyd told us. “We also love every single cast me member, but we think it’s time to switch things up. Everywhere we go, we hear people talking about the surprise of the main characters that get killed off in ‘Game of Thrones’. We want to go down that road as well.”

Lloyd and Levitan wouldn’t give us any hints on who is getting killed off, but we could guess one of the deaths will be of Ed O’Neill’s character, Jay, based on his age. The season pemiere will be on ABC on September 24th at 9|8c.
