Hollywood, CA – Over the last few years, actor Chadwick Boseman has played some of the most icon African American men in pop culture. In 2013, the South Carolina native played Jackie Robinson in Brian Helgeland’s 42. The film gave Boseman nominations for different awards including a win for the Male Star of Tomorrow award. This year, Boseman starred in Tate Taylor’s Get On Up, a biopic on James Brown. This role has been in talks to give Bozeman an Oscar nomination.

Although Boseman has doesn’t have a long acting resume yet, his two recent roles and his real life story has interested Hollywood. They want to get the story out to the world so people can see Boseman for who he is; an actor, a playwright, a talented basketball player and boxer, and so much more. When it came to casting someone for the role, there was only one person: Chadwick Boseman.

The actor has been walking everywhere with a mirror recently to really get down the role. Since getting the role, he has a camera crew film his every move, which he then watches the next day. He has also visited with his family to talk about what he was like growing up. We think Bozeman will really be able to excel in the role.
