Hollywood, CA – As the latest film in the Mission: Impossible franchise hits Redbox and entertainment stores, you better believe that the next film is well on its way. Tom Cruise is right there alongside the writers and director of the sixth film, as the scientologist has had a lot of creative control in his films; including getting the director of Edge of Tomorrow to think about doing a sequel without having any interest in one. The follow-up film will take place back in America, mostly in Hunt’s apartment. This action-packed film will feature the protagonist trying to get through to Comcast to talk to them about his recent bill.

If you’re a customer of Comcast, which you probably are, you know how hard it is to get through to the customer service associates. Millions of Comcast users would love to switch to another internet, phone, and cable provider, but Xfinity pretty much owns that market.

The sequel, titled Mission: Impossible – Comcast Takedown, will be released in two parts. The first part will feature Hunt trying to get through to customer service and the second part will focus on the agent finding his way to headquarters to take down all of the bad guys that have wronged him and so many people.

Cruise will, once again, do all of his own stunts for the film. After scaling one of the tallest buildings in the world and flying on the wing of a plane in the last few films, it was wondered how tough it would be to top those stunts. The star of the franchise will be making live calls to Comcast during the film to really capture the true essence of what it is like to try to get through to them. Cruise will be method acting over the next few months making calls to the mass media company. The sequel will start filming in the early summer and will be released on Christmas day of 2017. Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames are also returning to the franchise.
