Los Angeles, CA – As if this summer couldn’t get any worse, Kanye West decided to step in and announce that he is running for president in 2020. The Chicago native is a little late to the party, literally, but is eligible if enough people vote for him as a write-in.

Over the last few years, we have heard a lot of celebrities announce they would be running. Kid Rock, The Rock, Ron Pearlman, Katy Perry, and even Chris Rock had all mentioned on one way or another they would be running. Some of these people could really put “Rock the Vote” into their campaign. But it’s no surprise that the Grammy award-winning rapper and husband of Kim Kardashian announced yesterday he will be running. Not only has he mentioned his possible candidacy over the last few years, but West is known for pulling publicity stunts like these.

While we don’t know who Biden will have campaigning as his running mate yet, West took no time to announce his running mate: Himself. After the technology was first introduced at Coachella in 2012, West had always wanted to use it for his stage shows. “It’s still so pricey and the man power going into just 2 Pac featuring on a track took months,” West told us. ” Now, eight years later, I have the money and the company behind the hologram has what they need to provide me a full-time hologram of myself.
