Hollywood, CA – Kanye West is everywhere right now. It’s not all good news for him though. Although he just dropped a new album and is fresh off of his ‘Saturday Night Live’ performance from this past weekend, the Chicagoan was shut down by Taylor Swift at the Grammy’s and he is now begging fans and other celebrities to help him get out of debt. One of Ye’s first ideas was to turn to Mark Zuckerberg and ask him one billion dollars in exchange for some of his ideas. The next idea is somehow even crazier and more ridiculous than that one: Kanye wants to change Easter’s name to “Yeezter.”
This isn’t a surprise, as West’s last album was titled Yeezus and the rapper dressed up as Jesus and was cruified on stage during the album’s tour. For some reason, West likes to compare himself to Jesus, so much so that he just started a petition to get the name of Easter changed to “Yeezter.”
Kanye said he wants to make this change not only because he thinks he deserves it, but he will also make 10% profit off of each Easter-themed product brought surrounding the holiday. That’s right, any chocolate bunnies, Peeps, and even regular eggs that you buy from March to April will make Kanye West money.
So far, 10,000 people have signed the petition.
